Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Los Angeles, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We ordered the pork chop rice (θ±¬ζŽ’ι£―), beef noodle soup (牛肉麡), house cold noodles (ι›žη΅²ζΆΌιΊ΅), and popcorn chicken (ιΉ½ι…₯ι›ž). The portions were massive, and everything tasted completely authentic to me. My absolute favorite was the pork chop rice, especially because it came topped with that savory minced pork belly. The service was fantastic, and the restaurant is incredibly clean and family-friendly.

This place is legit. Having lived in Taiwan for a brief period, this cafe was weirdly familiar and comforting in flavors. The popcorn chicken packed with meat, fries chicken rice with the spicy garlic sauce was amazing and thai tea refreshing. The cold noodles with chicken was very fresh. Probably the best hole in the wall I've been to in a while. Can't wait to try the other dishes.

That was an amazing meal! I'm going to be dreaming about it for days 😌. We had 3 potential dinner spots and this was our second attempt because we couldn't find parking at the 1st restaurant and I'm so glad that happened. We shared 2 orders or Crab Rangoon that was super flavorful. Then 3 of us shared the following and we left with sooooooo much, the portions are amazing: - Wonton Noodle Soup, I could eat this on repeat with their house made chili oil. (My favorite bite! 🀀) - Popcorn Chicken (the deep fried basil was a new experience that I needed) - The Fried Chicken Rice, this was so good. Our vegetarian had the Tomatoe Sauce Rice with Tofu instead of chicken, she loved it. We had a few Passion Fruit Green Teas with coconut jelly lychee and a lychee Lemonade and that Lemonade was the star, it was everyone's favorite. This is down the street from Keck USC and will be right back here on our next visit. 10/10.
